You don't understand....only the "Cyclone Club" donors will have a chance at the 4,000. I don't want a season ticket and there are no 3 game packages this year. I don't want to be forced to finance Barta's entire athletic budget scheme. I just want one of those cheap $65 tickets like the "featherbutt faithful" were crying about last year.

In the past they've released some tickets that were freed up 2 or 3 days before the game and I bought them that way. Don't know if that still happens or not.

The 3 game packages will be released later this summer. They usually include 2 Big Ten teams and an OOC team.

So, I guess if you want to sit in the stands with Iowa fans, you'll need to buy the package. If there are any tickets left after that, they release them a few days before the game.

So maybe I'm confused... We planned on going to this game as we purchased two tickets for the game at Kinnick (from ISU) two years ago for the first time. Were we just extremely lucky to get tickets this way or is the demand just that much more now? At the time, we were not BIG donors...

I guess it depends on the demand the ISU AD office has. Since Iowa tickets are already in high demand, it's unlikely that you'll get a single game ticket through the Iowa AD.

It will definetly not be on Vs. I assume it will be on Big Ten Network, but ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC have the first pick. I imagine that this will be a game the Big Ten Network will have high on its list because of the Iowa-Mediacom situation. It automatically falls within the Big Ten television package because it is at Iowa (which is what I think you were asking).

I can't imagine ICPD wants anything to do with this game being held at night.

I don't know about that. With all the football players accounted for in the stadium, crime in the town should be at an all time low.

Is it the old Hawkeye fans or just Hawkeye fans in general that dislike night football games? I know Iowa plays the majority of their games during the day, so thats what most fans are used to. But a lot of EIU fans B**** and moan when it comes to night games, unless its against OSU or someone like that.

Probably due to the fact their stadium has the worst parking ever, getting back to their double wide before 1 am is tough.

Word. So, when does Jon Miller crank up the "No single game ISU/Iowa tickets available" whaaambulance this year? I think I may have to call in to his show and crank it up myself.

Well, Kinnick doesn't have permanent lighting. Also, parking is a pain in the butt, and takes forever to get the 70,000 fans funneled down to I-80. The hospital also is not a big fan of night games.

Odds are it will be on the BTN and there will be some Hawkeye homer doing the game. Its not like is is a hot ticket game for ESPN or ABC.

If I had tickets to the game in IC I dont know if I would go. Why would I want to go and put up with 75,000 annoying Iowa fans?

I'm 2-0 for the night so far.
