A couple on the field but mostly portrait type photos. I like to get shots of the players without helmets because a lot of the time we don't even know what they look like. All the players were good natured about having a camera stuck in their face.

Of all times to have contact lens trouble, here is Travis Ferguson. I bet he appreciated me standing there taking photos. 
The only touchdown I managed to catch. Here is Ricky Thompson, Jr.

Great Photos.
I think the first photo of Bates sums up why it is so hard to see how the QB is going to be live. Look at him throwing off his back foot. He is doing this b/c he knows if a player gets near him the play is dead. When it is live, the QB has half a second more time that they can use to step into a throw. I really think that is why both QB's struggled when I watched the first half of the scrimmage. | |

Ricky did awesome.. was really nice to see with him being a SR from Ames.. it would be so cool to see him some how playing some this year

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

Bates looks like he is quite the competitor. Looks like he has a lot of upside in the leadership department. Looks like he wants to win more than others.

Arnaud is a very strong competitor as well - it will be interesting to see how everything plays out. I will say from seeing Austen over the years that if he is motivated and his head is in the right place, I think it will be his job.
