I think there is a difference between a "big playmaker" and a
"difference maker". We can have a lot of big playmakers, but perhaps only one who can make the difference in a game. Oregon's quarterback last season was a difference maker, not merely a big playmaker. Bo Williams might well be that type of player. If Phillip or Austen show a great deal of leadership, either could be a difference maker, and not merely a big paymaker.
A defensive player who gets a sack or an interception that isn't merely a big play, but a crucial turning point of the game, is a differencemaker. I'm not sure that I see anyone like that on the roster...but there are candidates. We'll see this fall.
