Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Derron Montgomery got arrested for domestic abuse/assault causing bodily injury on Thursday. Probably will be the last straw for him as an ISU football player as he was already involved in that theft incident earlier. http://www.iowacourts.state.ia.us/ESAWebApp/TIndexFrm

Ummmm no... I heard the rumor from my WR friend so I looked it up to see if it was true, which apparently it is

Just wanted to make sure nobody here was wasting all of their time looking for players on that site. I saw on his Facebook a couple days ago that he wasn't allowed to run at Drake for some "stupid ****" and wondered what it was, now I know.

I'd let this one play out before proclaiming him gone. Imehls is standing behind him and it sounds like Montgomery was the one who called the cops.

Couple things...for one I know it makes everyone feel and look good to post the old "he's gone we don't need that crap at ISU" messages on the board but last time I checked a man is innocent until proven guilty and I doubt anyone on this board will be judging his case. I would'nt go on recored defending him here but from the article just posted in the daily I'd say there's good reason for pause in this case. | |
