    Re: Gameday music question

    OK... what's the classical-sounding song that's played near the beginning of the game? Sounds like something that would be in "The Lord of the Rings" soundtrack? It's played all over the place -- even heard it in "Shrek the Halls" Christmas special...
    TIA!

    EDIT: skyh13 just answered my question before I had the chance to type it. Thanks!

    They play like 10 songs while the team is stretching and warming up. They play both "2 step"and "Walk it out" along with "Push it" by Rick Ross "Fireman" by Lil Wayne (all instrumental i may add) along with many others....

    You meant O Fortuna, commonly called Carmina Burana ;)

    <band nerd>
    Carmina Burana is a collection of poems...
    Carl Orff set some of the poems to music (24 of em)
    The famous movement is called "O Fortuna"
    (some more interesting info... Orff's piece is arranged in several sections: "Fortune", "Springtime", "In the tavern", and "Court of Love"... my favorite movement is "In taberna quando sumus" (when we are in the tavern))

    And geez! I asked this question about gameday music a year or two ago and no one knew a thing. And thanks to all the answers, awesome

    Hey Bill, I was wondering if you could identify some of these others. Vids are from spring game, and it was really windy that day, and taken from a crappy digital camera (to explain quality).
