I do think he'll struggle mightily though. And, I think he'd have a "tougher" time in the Arena League - because of his struggles with making quick decisions.

The Skins staff seems very high on Brennan and reports seem to think he is the #3 to beat. They have a full roster so it's hard to say they'll keep more than 3 QB's, but best of luck to Bret. At least they posted a nice picture of Bret on their front page announcing their undrafted FA's. Washington Redskins (click on the third story in the main window). |

He does have the body for the NFL but that's about it. He will need a lot of work to make the practice squad. |

Maybe that is unfair since Dixon was hurt and his value diminshed due to injury...but those two aren't even close in terms of effectiveness!

The Redskins have had like 18 starting QBs since 1993 which is when Joe Gibbs retired for the first time. The only team with more starting QBs during the past 15 years have been the Bears! All you Bears fans know how bad your QBs have been and the constant trading/drafting of bad/average QBs.

Thought I was done seeing ISU players when I moved to Maryland. Grant you I still don't think I'll see him play, but if I happen to see him play sometime I won't complain. Good luck to him

The last two years have been down for him, but try getting put on your arse 25 times or more a game and then try to be on top of your game. A lot of people said Michael Taylor wouldn't amount to anything either. |
And as crummy as this one felt, Cyclone fans, it could be a lot worse. You could be a Hawkeye. - Sean Keeler (imagine that, actually quoting Keeler!)

While this may be partially true, i really doubt a good line will make him a NFL QB.... he was a decent college QB, but the road stops there. imo
Best of luck to him though

I'm not convinced Dixon is "head and shoulders" above Bret in an NFL style offense.

but..
thought i would share.. i found the dvd to the 2004 review..i watched it yesterday.. i know the past 2 seasons have been really rough.. but i really do think BM stil has potential.. i think what it will come down to is who will give him a chance.. | Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative. ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other." |
