What killed us against Nebraska and especially Oklahoma was poor execution in the red zone. We ran over 100 plays at Nebraska but only had 17 points. 1-for-4 in the red zone against Oklahoma... that one haunted me for awhile. We could have put Stoops in a box and mailed him to Iran after that first half, but couldn't follow through.
Near misses and what-ifs. Thou art a cruel mistress.

If our O can move the ball, esp. on the ground, our defense should be at least as good as last season and we will have a chance at the end of most of our games. Which for year two would be about where I think everyone wants us to be. with our best 2 defensive players drafted into the NFL what makes you think the defense will be better without them.
