Jon Banks

Did anybody else know that he is on the Bills team with Bowen? He is listed on the roster as 58, Bowen 50. And here is a bit from training camp.
In linebacker drills fifth-round pick Alvin BowenClick the image to open in full size. looks like he's very agile and light on his feet. He's also ripped in terms of his musculature. If he's got more than five percent body fat it would be a surprise. In 7-on-7 he lined up at the strong side backer position with undrafteds Joe BrockingtonClick the image to open in full size. and his college teammate Jonathan Banks lined up on the weak side.
Also small mention of Meyer in training camp at Washington. Colt Breanan is not practicing as he had surgery April 7th.

After that bowl game, you had to wonder if Colt Brennan wasn't having some physical problems. Get drafted then decide you go to surgery? Wonder if ther team knew before they drafted? Bills are one tough defensive team with minimal offense. The ex-Iowa State coach probably had something to do with the two LBs joining the team.

They'll make the Playoffs this year. They've been close the past few years.

Re: Jon Banks

I like Dick Jauron a lot, I still think he didn't get a completely fair shake in Chicago. It's really amazing the Bills were able to compete last year with all the injuries and stuff they were dealing with.

I do agree the Bills could easily be in the post-season this year or next. And what fun it would be with a chance for a Cyclone or two to be on the roster!

He made it known that he was going to have the surgery. His decision was based on; have surgery now and be ready by seasons start, or rest it and not practice and probably not make the team roster.

I completely agree. I liked him before he got to Buffalo. What he did last year was amazing. To hold that team together with everything that happened shows what he could do with a healthy team.

Re: Jon Banks

Thats pretty cool that two Iowa State guys are on the same team. Let's hope that they can make the roster for the next year and maybe see some playing time
