Ah, that's just fantastic.

Let this be a note to those of ya that went well out of your way to dance in the Hawk off-field issues....

What goes around comes around.

This certainly isn't the end of the world, but definitely not good. I'd venture to guess this guy will no longer be part of the staff.

I'd expect that he will not be a coach at ISU in the fall.

That isn't good but at least it wasn't a player.

I would expect that he won't be a coach here next week. And that's good. We don't need this kind of example floating around.

I dunno...a person could easily make a case that a coach doing this is worse than a player. These coaches are not just coaches, but should be role models to the athletes.

When they do stuff like this, as 91 noted, it doesn't set a great example - regardless if they're just a graduate assistant or a "true" staff member.

Re: Graduate Assistant Coach arrested

Wait, I'm confused. Sounds to me like he tried to break IN to the impound lot? Maybe he had a second car stuck in there? Oh well, time for Chiz to make an example.

No this isn't good, but he was a coach which to me makes it worse. I know he was only a grad assistant, but he is still suppose to be setting good examples.

Refusing to take the Datamaster breath test back at the station doesn't say much for him either.

Re: Graduate Assistant Coach arrested

I can see this meeting being a 5-minute special, like Bill Callahan's at Nebraska, except with a real good character reason (not just losing).

I'd say a coach getting arrested for something like this is much worse than if it were a player. Not good.
