Credits: 124,927 NFL: Packers | Jack Trice Phase 2 Completion Date According to ISU Facilities Planning and Management project site, the anticipated completion date for Jack Trice phase 2 is August 2009.
You can access that info at this website by logging in as a guest, click on Jack Trice Improvement phase 2, click on general info. Guest ActiveProject Login.
You should also take a look at a article that CycloneReport did about JT and the logic behind adding more seats. Any doubters should read it: http://iowastate.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=804553.
-- I should note that not every project on this FP&M's site is 100% accurate and the info, obviously, can still be changed. However, the phase 1 info on this site is accurate and the presence of (what appears to be) the most resent drawing for phase 2 leads me to believe that the site has been updated recently, and therefore this info is accurate. --

Yeah, it's taking them this long just to finish one side of the stadium for the concession stands so how would they be able to finish 2 decks of seats in less than a year?

Hopefully we wouldn't have a bad winter so we could complete it during the off-season

You would have to think that, and it seems to me that it would have to true with the date so early. Hopefully it is a big donor for the program, that would be awesome!

It all depends on how much you throw at it and what your deadline is. They know for a fact that they have until August to get the west side done. No reason to pay a lot of overtime if you don't need to.
They built a 5 story office building near my house in just over a year. It's taken them almost 2 years to build the addition to Coover Hall. And they are building the 35W bridge in a little over a year. It all depends on how much you want to spend on a project and what your goals are. |

Could be done easily. Bigger projects require bigger crews.
I'm guessing the current project has a completion date in a contract and it's up to the contractors to finish by that date. You wont see a contractor put in extra resources to a project that doesn't need to be complete yet. |
