Who would be a better TE? Him or Bofeli from Valley. I heard Bofeli was high on ISU. Maybe one of them will be a DE or OL.
Maybe they can be like me in NCAA football for Playstaion and be 6'6" 250 lb MLB with 4.2 speed.

whatever happened to that 6 7" kid out of ankeny (i believe) that we got a couple of years ago. Don't recall his name but I thought he was pretty highly touted.

He has been mentioned on the 1st team depth chart as left tackle. Dont think he has the job wrapped up, but doesnt look as soft as I thought he was.
I think he was supossedly a top 5 player in the state that year. A 3* player, not that it means ****.

Barrent has the body and skills to maybe contribute right away. Lichtenberg will be a work in progress because he is playing TE and DE. I'm sure the coaches are looking at him to play OL. The kid is very athletic from the looks of his Soph football video.
What I love about this pickup is that now we have Lichtenberg, Hammerschmidt and Bykowski. All of them atleast 6'6", very athletic TE's and will probably play on the OL.

I feel like the MAC is turning and looking more at ISU than years past. Maybe Lichtenberg can help matters, especially among the Bettendorf pipeline at U of I.
Current rosters of MAC players:
Iowa - Vandervelde, Angerer, Greenwood, Sandeman, King from Burlington which is a MAC school but far from the others. (Joe Conklin transfered from ISU to Iowa and will show up on the 2008 roster)
ISU - Messiah, Frere, Frere, Brandtner (Tuftee will join after his greyshirt) | |

05 North Scott grad. rip, there's plenty of us that escaped Hawk country over there  .
DJK I think that Bett has definitely been a Hawk pipeline over the past few years, but ISU has gotten more out the MAC recently than Iowa
