Iowa gets who they want out of the MAC, same for ISU. I think if both schools went after a player the eastern Iowa effect would factor into the player's decision.

I'm also in the MAC area, and there just aren't hardly any Cyclone fans there.
But I don't think it's a HUGE deal. With the exception of Bettendorf and Central basketball, the MAC sucks. |

The fact that we have turned the tide in the football series I think has a lot to do with eastern Iowa players exploring ISU. I do know that Iowa has called the HS coach of one of our current MAC players to see if he was unhappy. Is that legal?
In response to DJK15: I played three other sports, but not football. |

As far as the QC area goes, Lichtenberg was an ISU legacy. The MAC schools are pretty much a pipeline for the Hawks. Too bad all those recruits from the "MAC" schools cannot help the hawks beat a MAC team (Western Michigan). |

If CJ had remained a TE I think he would have been a lot more productive and just as good as Ben. |

I thought he injured his back which pretty much ended his career. I don't think he ever really got started.
