Sounds like Kyle Lichtenberg of Bettendorf committed but I haven't seen anything on it around here. Any info on this kid?

There was a Lichtenberg that played for ISU in the early 80s that lived on the 7th floor in Wilson Hall. He was either a OL or DL, but never saw any action on the field that I knew of. Does anyone know if this is his son?

I think both of his parents played at ISU...not sure of the sports.

CR says we have our 1st commit for football. Could very well be him. I guess i might not be the only sane person to come out of the QC's and become a Clone fan.

One of Earle Bruce's top assistants was Tom Lichtenberg and I think he left for Ohio State with Earle. Then I think he came back and was an assistant AD in the 80's at some point. I remember he coached at Notre Dame for awhile too. I wonder if this is one of his grandsons because he might have one that age.
And, abcguyks, I think you are right that one of his sons played here at ISU.
Anyway, maybe there is no connection but I haven't heard that name in awhile and it made me wonder.
