I watched the movie 21 last night and it really made me want to go to Vegas RIGHT NOW!

On a side note, are there any shows (comedy, tribute, magic, or anything else) that people highly recommend going to see?

Not 100% sure yet, but MGM Grand is leading my list of options at this point. My brother-in-law is going to Vegas this month and is gonna give me a review before I book.

Re: Where is everyone staying in Vegas?

Need an "other" selection - 12 of us staying in a couple suites in a timeshare on the strip. Nothing like $150 total for 3 nights ;)

Personal preferences though - MGM and NYNY are the best...

Re: Where is everyone staying in Vegas?

I was kind of leaning towards the Imperial Palace too, but since then, I've heard bad things. It is in the middle of the Strip, and I kind of figured we could just walk to other places to hang out. And it is cheap. Why is this not a good place to stay for those of you in the know?

A group of us got a suite there for a couple of nights before a work conference out there. It was just pretty nasty - not very clean. The Dealertainers in the casino are funny, but the rooms just aren't very clean. The location is good, though, and their buffet doesn't suck as bad as it could.

Exactly. I don't plan on hanging out there - just passing out. Can't beat the location and it was cheap cheap cheap!
