Staying at Red Rock Casino/Resort - Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa, Las Vegas
It's a ways from the stadium so we'll probably gamble there Friday night and plan on hiking and kayaking either Lake Mead or Colorado River Saturday morning. Daughtry is playing there in August, hopefully they'll have a good concert that weekend in September too.

Formerly known as "newisufan".

I hope they put my blackjack losses there to good use. I'm one of the "losers" who helped built that place (like they really upgraded the blue prints after they took my $100).

I'm disappointed because they no longer brew their own beer.

Dean Wormer was wrong. Fat, drunk and stupid was a great way to go through college (all five years of it).

Too bad this isnt happening anymore, that would've been a sweet fight to see if you wanted to pay $1000/ ticket.

I'm going with a group of 8 and we are staying at Excalibur. Sounds like we will be seeing a lot of fellow Cyclones down there which is great.

Tis the Excalibur for me

I hear it is not the greatest. But I am a sucker for things Medieval. Gonna try to do the Medieval show too. Been to one like that in Dallas before. Good stuff. Sword fights, jousting, maidens...

Re: Where is everyone staying in Vegas?

We've got a group of 6 at the Desert Rose (next door to the Hooters). The deal was great, as are the reviews, and based on some posts here at the beginning of the year, we should have a few groups of Cyclones there. Can't wait!!!

Now why would you want to see that when you could go watch Cher?

We are rarely in our room at the hotel when in Vegas, so a bed is all we need.

I'm looking for less expensive shows... We've seen O before.

My avatar is a pic I took from my phone camera at the spring game. Gotta love Cy on a bike.

Ha! I didn't think of it that way. I was trying to say that we weren't picky about the hotel this time. We've stayed at high end places out there before and spend very little time in our room.
