IMO I would prefer the gold pants for the away unis. Too much red for my liking otherwise.
Don't get me wrong though, I love the uni's.

I have to say that I prefer the throwbacks we wore against iowa, over the new ones. But I like the new unis A LOT. Hopefully Chizik goes with the gold pants for the away games most of the time.

I love the uni's....I am so happy to see the blue is out of everything...! And I don't feel the IOWA STATE is to low or to small...Just simply clean cut great looking uni all together! | |

Everything is "I-State" or "Iowa State" on the unis - nothing to reveal to fans that our nickname is in fact the CYCLONES. Are we trying to keep that hidden, to avoid confusion or something? | |

Other than that, the only other thing I can recall was a brief period late in the Clyde Williams Field days when the rear nameplate read "CYCLONES". | |

Ehhh, I still don't think they're as good as the "adjust your tv-set" mix of reds and golds on the home uni's from the Seneca years...... just kidding...
these are freaking great... hopefully they won't change for at least 2 years... maybe the home uni's will help ISU play more like USC in the future....
