Aside from that small detail, I like 'em. Going back to the Cardinal is awesome. Perhaps one day Chizik will choose to mix in metallic gold pants for a big game...but maybe that has to be earned, as a sign of excellence.

If they would outline the logo on the helmet w/ white, it would be even better. The logo is hard to see on that helmet. The white outline will make the logo stand out even more.

Those look pretty nice. I still think they should have gone with a white helmet and some white highlights throughout the jersey/pants. As they are now they look too much like USC IMO.

Cheap?????????? Wow man we've had the CHEAPEST/CHEESIEST uniforms in college football for about 20 years now...these are the furthest thing from cheap Iowa State football has ever seen. Not trying to pick on ya but it's almost hard to describe in words how much higher quality these uniforms are they our previous ones

And as far as the "gold," I'm fine with - it's the same gold/yellow used in the logo and it's our official athletic department color, why would they change that for our football pants?

And Nike used our "Cyclone" font! Gotta love it - we'll be seeing that everywhere now

I don't mean to get testy lol, but we've had screen-printed crap forever now on our cheesy jerseys and its looked terrible because...it's cheap.

Everything is embroidered (I think that's the term) with these new uni's which is the highest quality you can get!

I really like the new uni's. But lets keep in mind that these are just pics. I still think that they pants could be the darker gold that some of you hope. If you look at the sweater the chizik is wearing in Cyclone711's profile picture, it appears more gold than the picture portray's our pants. I don't see NIKE using two different shades of gold. I could be wrong though. Just a thought.

I like the uniforms a lot, I don't think that is the final helmet color, but I could be wrong. It looks like the old helmet red, with a new decal. We'll see when the new one's come if they match better. It's just a picture, but that's how it looks to me.

Im glad we didn't go with the throwback gold. That was pretty ugly.
