Cyclone Football Schedule: UNLV Season Preview

I figure why not put our opponents' previews too, so we know what to expect. The following is the UNLV 2008 Season preview. Sounds like our secondary better be ready to run and run and our OL be ready for lots of men coming...

Wow, I didn't know they lost their last 8 games last year. I hate looking forward to something so far in advance but... summer be gone

I would give up summer to get to football season. Highschool, college, ISU, NFL, fantasy football...I want it all!

If we think we can beat Iowa in Iowa City, then we shouldn't have any problems with UNLV. I would equate this to the Toledo game last year, a game we should of won and would of won if it had been played a month later.

Well, I don't think we'll have an "easy" game this year. This one should be one of the most fun though.

I would too. Summer is my major down time at work, but if I could roll right into football season, that would be awesome!

This game is going to be a riot. I haven't been to Vegas since the Summer of '06, so I'm having a few withdraws...

Re: Cyclone Football Schedule: UNLV Season Preview

The thing I hate about playing UNLV is they have lots of talent, the players usually just don't have the right stuff above their shoulders to be great/good. If they play to their ability they can be a decent team (Wisconsin, Utah games in 07) and they can be horrible too(big losses to NM, Colorado St., TCU)

I disagree. Iowa does not match up against us very well. They still have no pass defense. The one thing going for Iowa is the game is being played in Iowa City. I can easily see us winning in Iowa City and losing in Las Vegas.

What's the over/under on the coach falling down?
