Versus network promo

I meant to post this a while back when i saw it, but forgot.

For those of you that don't watch the Versus Network, they run a pretty cool little 30-second promo spot for the network where they cut in various sports highlights: playoff hockey, ultimate fighting, basketball, etc. I've been watching a lot of Versus because the Stanley Cup playoffs are on it (don't think there's much hockey fans on the board, except maybe jj-cyclone).

But at the end of the 30-second promo, their only football highlight is a 3 or 4 second clip of Iowa State football, from sometime last year. It shows a long run, followed by an end zone scene. It's got the newer ISU uniform stuff, with the large I helmet. Its kinda cool, we're the only college school they show.

Anyway, thought i'd share...kinda nice to see some sports network love, even if it is only Versus

HGPuck also loves hockey....More on topic I really liked the idea of having games on Versus last year. While it is not the perfect set up, it is a national station that any Cyclone fan that wants can find or get and it is in a lot of other households across the country. I know we cant work out any contracts outside of the Big 12 one but I would like to see us keep working with stations like Versus.

You can watch multiple sports as well. I'm watching the Detroit/Dallas game right now (my kids are at PE, then Mandarin, then recess, so should get a majority of the game in).

Also have the Twins on yahoo. Can't wait to be back in the states this summer so I can just use a remote to watch the games.
