Re: paul clarks never to early big 12 preview

There is zero possibility of CU starting 1-3. They could start 2-2, but Colorado State is horrible of late.

Beggars can't be choosers. I will happily sell out for 6-6 and Shreveport.

NE keeps their same offense.

EIU is the other Okoboji University for serious students and home of Captain Kirk who pilots the Enterprise on its Trek through the Universe for finding his next great job. Captain, beware of your Superbowl.

Mizzou will go 14-0 and win the NC. Too much offensive firepower coming back and a much better defense. Bank on it !!!!

With the non-con schedule that CU has, if they go 3-1 out of the gate, they will contend for the Big 12 North.

Oh, CU's non-con schedule:

8/30 Colorado St. (Denver)
9/6 Eastern Washington
9/8 West Virginia
9/27 Florida St (at Jacksonville)

Yeah I look for Colorado to win the North this year.

As far as CU goes, they only have one guaratneed win out of those 4 non-conf games. CSU ALWAYS plays them tough (one of the more underrated rivalries, imo, probably cause CSU is a mid-major). West Virginia will likely embarass them, even @ Folsom and w/out Slaton, and i got a kick out of them playing FSU in a neutral site. Jacksonville? Neutral? That would be like us playing some SEC team in Des Moines and calling it neutral. The Buffs will be good in conference, but as usual, they really called up a strong non-conference schedule. I would say 2-2 at best.

I'll order up another shot of sin, I'm running twice as hard into the wind, I'll hitch a ride when the next one comes in, fell off the wagon again...

Lawls. Not with Gary Pinkel still at the helm they won't.

Re: paul clarks never to early big 12 preview

I would condition my predition on them being able to run a power I-formation when they need to be doing so (within the 5 yd line vs Oklahoma) in XII championship game. Their spread got them down there but they couldn't put it in with it, Mizzou needs to run backs-regular power football when it counts, they got to cute last year and it cost them.
