Mizzou-they seem for real
Iowa State-surprise of the year
Kansas-the luster is over with a tough schedule
Colorado-can't get over the hump
Nebraska-I'll take our Bo over theres

I like where your head is at, but we have more questions than an 80 year old at a Best Buy Store.

My prediction is that I will hold off on making predictions until fall camps start up so we can see who actually shows up on campus (here and elsewhere) and who doesn't show up.

That's a good one.
I don't think you can really judge what will happen in the BIG 12 unti August at the absolute earliest. In all reality you need to get 2 non conference games in and see how they perform in the field before you can make any real predictions.

I will agree on the south,
But for north: KU
Mizzou
Neb
Colorado ISU
KSU
I could flip flop those last two, we have way too many question marks.

Texas
OU

Okie State
Tech
Baylor North
Missouri
CU KU
Nebby
KSU ISU
I can see ISU placing in 5th of the B12 North, but they have a relatively difficult schedule, with some of the easier games on the road.

I like Sam Bradford over Colt McCoy. We won't be in the top half of our division, wait one more year.

I could really care less about the south, but I think its
OU and Texas battle for 1-2
Tech, OSU, AM in the 3,4 5 spot
Baylor again gets last.
NORTH KU and MIZZOU battle for 1-2
CU and NU for the next spots ISU and KSU battle for 5-6
I would be thrilled with 4-4 conf record. That would mean we would probably have 7-8 wins.

One "safe" prediction I'll make: The OU Sooners win the South, and win the Big XII title game. Stoops does this virtually every...single...year. They have dominated our conference since he came there, and I don't see why this year will be any different.

That's why.

I don't see it - their defense was horrid last year, also was in 2006. Something is missing in Austin, even with all that talent. OU has won the South six of the last eight years, and won the Big XII five of those six years. That makes them the team to beat every year.
I work with a couple of Longhorn fans who would trade Brown for Stoops in a second - as with most UT fans, I would imagine.

North:
Missouri(I don't see them losing more than twice all year)
Colorado(Hawkins might muster 8 wins)
Kansas(Not expecting greatness, but a solid 7-8 win team)
K-State(Jucos will help Prince keep his job for another year)
Iowa State (3-1 non-conference, 2-6 in Big 12 play)
Nebraska(Sorry Bo, but you have lots of work to do.)
South:
OU (Stoops owns Mack Brown without Vince Young at QB)
Texas(loss in Red River Shoot-out will keep the Horns out of the title game.)
Oklahoma State(I know Texas Tech is the sexy pick this offseason but OSU might surprise.)
Texas Tech(I don't see anything special here, certainly not a top 15 caliber team like some predict. I like Leach and will root for him but I dont see it)
Texas A&M(New coach taking over has to clean up some messes. I'd much rather have Chizik than Mike Sherman anyway)
Baylor(New coach, same result.)
