We've won 7 out of the last 10 against iowa. see how easy it is to make #'s sound good in your favor.

3 wins is possibly the dumbest prediction so far, you have nothing to back up why you think that other than that you don't like iowa state. They have an easier schedule (in the non-conf and ESPECIALLY in the big 12 play) and they have a lot of ?'s which could very well be a good thing like especially the QB position. Special teams will definitely be better this year. Plus Iowa State also won't be going through the process of coaching changes and learning new playbooks and schemes. I am gonna laugh when they prove you wrong.

They got a legitimate shot at 7 or 8 wins. Is it likely? Probably not. By looking at the past as the means of predicting the future, we've been one big play away from several wins over the years. Some of those plays were ones we didn't make, and others were ones we gave up. I don't see the deep ball threat with Bates or Arnaud which we had with Meyer, but with a quarterback who can run and run well, combined with a better o-line, we can hopefully freeze defenses long enough to open up some sort of passing game and keep our defense off the field. There does seem to be a confidence building within the team.

Final prediction? How good are those incoming kickers????????

This is the sure sign that the hawkeye faithful are worried about what Chizik is doing in Ames with the ISU FB program. I absolutely love it! Thank you for posting!

I think many in black and gold are finally coming to grips with the reality that we have a tremendous head coach while they have a very mediocre head coach.

I say we both beat the hawkeyes and we make a bowl game this season...I actually think we may be able to get 7 or 8 wins this year!

Sorry, I'm not quite as optomistic. I think 4-5 wins is most likely. If we go bowling, we are going to have to go 4-0 to start the season.
