So, at least the football team looked to be rapidly improving in the second half of last year, and the team isn't experiencing massive defections either.  |

That sets back the bball program a couple years so hopefully the football team can have a good season and make a bowl game to make me forget about what happened |

I am opptomistic about the football season. I think we have a legit opportunity, with the schedule we have, to win 6-7 regular season games. We would benifit greatly from any bowl game, just because we need 14 more practices for our young team. I think we could win a bowl game as well because we have alot of versitility in the RB's and QB's. Many wrinkles could be put in for one game. | | | |

What single thing that could happen to the football team would equal what happened to the basketball team?
IMHO - If Chizik plays his cards right in the coming years, basketball at Iowa State could become an afterthought. |
