The Power of Positive Thinking

So, at least the football team looked to be rapidly improving in the second half of last year, and the team isn't experiencing massive defections either.

Crosses our fingers.

EIU is the other Okoboji University for serious students and home of Captain Kirk who pilots the Enterprise on its Trek through the Universe for finding his next great job. Captain, beware of your Superbowl.

That sets back the bball program a couple years so hopefully the football team can have a good season and make a bowl game to make me forget about what happened

Re: The Power of Positive Thinking

I am opptomistic about the football season. I think we have a legit opportunity, with the schedule we have, to win 6-7 regular season games. We would benifit greatly from any bowl game, just because we need 14 more practices for our young team. I think we could win a bowl game as well because we have alot of versitility in the RB's and QB's. Many wrinkles could be put in for one game.

What single thing that could happen to the football team would equal what happened to the basketball team?

IMHO - If Chizik plays his cards right in the coming years, basketball at Iowa State could become an afterthought.

This is the kind of stuff that is easy to handle when you are a Cubs or a Cyclones fan.
