I'm a football guy myself and am getting a little antsy to start talking about the gridiron again.
Anyone got anything to share? When the guys show up for summer workouts? etc...

Talked to a few the other day during a pick up game at the rec, said they started this past Monday on summer workouts. They were all given the week after finals off, then reported back. Of course, summer workouts are "optional"

Two players I can't wait to see what they got are Jason Carlson, And Sedrick Johnson. If carlson can really run a 4.25 wow that could really open a field up four recieve spread. I see big things in the recieve corp.

my friend i play football with, sophmore..He kicked field goals of 55, 53, 52 this past season, anything under 50 was a easy chip shot hes just gunna get better, he loves Iowa state, i can see him easily being a 5 star kicker his senior year

I know this is random but does anyone else think we should move the statue of JT from outside the stadium to inside right in front of the Jacobson building so people can actually see it and actually know about it. I never even heard of it before coming to this site which I thought was pretty sad. Would be an easy thing to be on TV and talked about by announces. Just a random thought.

I was thinking they should put Jack at the South entrance "walking plaza" when the new configuration is done as it appears that would be the major entrance.
