so who is going to start at RB? i know, A-Rob impressed everyone during the second half of last season, but what about Bo Williams? i have heard alot of good things about this guy. also heard that jason harris and jason scales may battle for a starting spot. JJ Bass got kicked off the team. that sucks! he was fun to watch

When did Bass get kicked off??? I thought he was just suspended from the Spring game for grades???

That just shows that I should pay better attention....

You gotta admit, with a name like "Bo Williams" you expect the guy to be a Stud.

Um, to the latest info I have (which goes back to just after the spring game) - Bass is suspended because of grade issues and is not kicked off the team.

No Bo until next year. JJ was suspended for some grade issues. Pretty sure he'll be back for the fall.

I would assume A-Rob will start but the carries will be fairly split as long as the RB's are healthy. I hope Bass will be able to play and make a big impact in the fall.

acccording to jj, he will b back come fall...he actually is still elegible by ncaa standards, however we seem to have a stand up coach who believes getting by on the minimum effort simply wont cut it!!! gotta love that ;)

That wouldn't have anything to do with the mandatory year off for transferring, now would it?

The initial post is off a bit.

Bo has to sit out a transfer year, so he will not be playing.

JJ is not kicked off of the team, he was just suspended for a while. Should be back and ready to go in the fall.

I would love to see both A-Rob and JJ get 20 carries per game. With a new QB and what should be a pretty good O-line, I would just really like to run the crap out of the ball and throw in some play-action passes. At least until the new QB has a bit more experience.

i thought bo could play since he redshirted last year at florida. thats kinda dumb that he has to redshirt again. is scales still around?

Yes, Scales is still here. A senior this fall.

I expect Bass to have a strong year(assuming he makes grades). He was clearly the best early last season until the injury.

Its not a redshirt, its a lost year of eligibility.

I think we might see a lot more combinations of more then one of ISU's tailbacks in the backfield at the same time. I think MacF will have a ton of options to use this fall with 2 QB's, 3 TB's and and number of WR's and TE's.
