yeahh ill be there yelling loud and obnoxiously, but im going to tivo it just as he said. so i can watch the victory and how sam boyd stadium looks with all the cardinal and gold
anyone know if any other games will be on TV? i caught a couple games on vs last year... the iowa game, k-state game and oklahomo game... also got to watch the kansas game on abc. the iowa game was awesome because i watched it with my brother and our friend nate. they are both hawk fans, so i was outnumbered... during the game, my 2 year old son was running around the house yelling "Go Cyclones!!!"
... and i may be the only cyclones fan in the state of new mexico!!! i see hawkeyes fans all the time..
At this rate, I think the Iowa game will be on BTN unless ABC/ESPN decides to fill another two spots with Big Ten home games. Those two games would likely both be on ESPN2 (11:00 and maybe 5:00).
ABC/ESPN games for Sept. 13 (already announced)
11:00, ESPN/ESPN2 - Cal at Maryland
11:00, ESPNU - Navy at Duke
2:30, ABC - Arkansas at Texas
2:30, ABC/ESPN - Georgia Tech at Virginia Tech
2:30, ABC - Penn State at Syracuse
2:45, ESPNU - Chattanooga at Florida State
6:30, ESPNU - Virginia at Connecticut
6:45, ESPN - Oklahoma at Washington
7:00, ABC - Ohio State at USC
9:30, ESPN2 - Wisconsin at Fresno State
Big Ten home games for Sept. 13 (in order of perceived national interest)
(1) Oregon at Purdue
(2) Iowa State at Iowa
(T3) UL-Lafayette at Illinois; Florida Atlantic at Michigan State
(T5) Montana State at Minnesota; Southern Illinois at Northwestern
Other Big Ten road game
Michigan at Notre Dame (NBC)
I could see it being the 5 p.m. game on ESPN2
If there is an ESPN2 window scheduled for 5:00. Purely speculation. But the precedent exists for that kickoff time on that network (2002 ISU @ Iowa).
Ooooo, cable/satellite wars! Let me chime in: How do you run 5 streams when the signal, delivered through the underground cable from Mediascam, is so unreliable? They couldn't get the signal right where it came into the house - first too low, then too high, etc...
(Only citing my own experience with their service over the years. When everything was working, it was decent, even if it was expensive. When we had issues, getting it fixed was a nightmare - enough so that we switched to DirecTV. The resultant picture quality is so much better, I won't go back!)
