I like to think of Jesus as a mischievous badger.
I like to think of Jesus like with giant eagles wings, and singin' lead vocals for Lynyrd Skynyrd with like an angel band and I'm in the front row and I'm hammered drunk!

Jesus was a wine drinking hippy. I bet he would have loved box wine if they had it back then.

Maybe Chizik is going to talk to that UNLV coach to let him know that the BS during their last trip to Ames won't fly? Really, I'm thinking that this is a meeting with some people from an NFL or other CFB staff to pick up a few wrinkles for the O and D. Chizik said that they were going to do that.

Jesus was a wine drinking hippy. I bet he would have loved box wine if they had it back then. Never understood people who were Christians and didn't drink for "religious" reasons. Last time I checked Jesus drank, and I don't think he ever told anyone not too. Some people are unable to refrain from "sinful" behavior while intoxicated, but wouldn't that behavior be the sin? Not the intoxication itself? Oh well, it's not like there is a long standing tradition of Christians mangling/losing sight of what Jesus actually said ...

I'll order up another shot of sin, I'm running twice as hard into the wind, I'll hitch a ride when the next one comes in, fell off the wagon again...

Now, I'm no religious scholar, but I believe there is nothing that says you can't drink, but getting drunk may be or is considered sinful.
Not that it's gonna stop me! | Chizik: "One thing that I’d encourage our fans… I want them to be the loudest stadium in the Big 12. I don’t care… I want Jack Trice stadium to be the loudest in the Big 12 and I think that creates homefield advantage.... I want to stress to everyone…I want this place to be juiced up. They bought 36,000 season tickets so there is a passion there…don’t hide it… let it out. I want there to be a passion in the stadium."

He could be just going out there just for vacation for a few days before things start to get crazy this fall.

Maybe they were our recruiting some bouncers to help on the line. I stayed at Palms last weekend. Didn't see 'em.

I know that Michelangelo did a painting of Noah (Drunkenness of Noah) in the Sistine Chapel, since Noah invented wine and all. I seem to remember from somewhere (and I'm no religious scholar) that Noah's drunkenness is considered one of those "big downfalls of mankind." Of course how this thread go so off-topic is beyond me, but I am glad to contribute some of my useless knowledge (or assumed knowledge, since I'm not 100% sure and have no sources...) | | |

May my signatures be polite and not misunderstood. (And hopefully funny on occasion.)
