All newcomers on campus?

No doubt someone here is keeping track. . . .

Didn't we have maybe three new kids who were in some doubt, for one reason or another, about making it academics-wise? Adrin Haughton (made it, reportedly), Chase Harper (TE), and another Texas kid?

Did I see it correctly, all are listed on the updated roster?

Laing, the DE from Canada is missing from the roster, it appears. But, part of that is said to be the usual clearinghouse issues for Canadian student-athletes, and he'll likely be here soon. Correct?

So, is anyone from last February's announced signings out-and-out missing? (Kennard Banks was not ever officially announced signing a LOI, I don't think, but he's on the roster.)

Kennard Banks is listed as enrolled, but it doesn't appear as if any of the freshman are in the system yet. Maybe someone close to the program can report.

Some people are surfing the student directory and the only 2 names I can remember as being absent are Harper - JUCO, and Laing - making up snow days in Canada.

So, Harper IS going the JUCO route? Do you know what school? Love to see him in Iowa.

. . . Just checked the football roster at cyclones.com, and Harper is on it. I thought the roster recently had been updated, but the only date I find on it is last April 4. Since then, we've learned that Chase is headed the JUCO route, huh?

I've not seen anything official - just chatboard postings so take with grain of salt.
