Vegas plans

FYI for those of you who haven't made your plans yet to Vegas, we just found a flight out of DSM through MSP to LAS for $239.50 each!!! Just as I had almost given up hope, we found this flight. Hop on board if you were holding out for a "cheap" flight. 2 cons here would be the trip is Thursday night thru a tuesday red-eye 1:05AM getting back into DSM at 8:35AM Tuesday.

We ended booking our flight out of Omaha after giving up on Des Moines. The 2 hours we spend driving over to Omaha are being made up by taking a direct flight to Vegas on Southwest.

Is that $1,000 for both you and your dad or is that $1,000 per person?

What are you thinking you can't take your wife with you to vegas!

When asked about the ISU @ Iowa game: Iowa wide receiver Derrell Johnson-Koulianos said. "This has to be the most important game of the year. We've got to treat it like we're playing for a Big Ten championship."

Re: Vegas plans

nooo its like 1300 or something i kinda just threw out 1000, my bad but no its for both of us but we also did some a upgraded room, and we did specialized flights if your going whenever i bet you could erase that 200-300 off there that we spent extra to make it a better trip...it came out to be about 678 or something for 1 person

The forms were supposed to be sent in by last week, I think. But, sounds like most people on this site are buying through the UNLV ticket office to get better seats. Sec. 108 seems to be the popular area.

Re: Vegas plans

I realize this isn't for the Football game week, but I just had to tell everyone.... I got tickets for 4th of July weekend out of Cedar Rapids direct flight to Vegas through Allegiant for $33 round trip. That is $4 there and $29 back....$33 ROUND TRIP!!! UNBELIEVABLE! The tickets are now about $300, so I obviously booked at the right time.

I wasn't even planning on going to Vegas that weekend, but couldn't pass up that offer.
