Bowen is expected to play special teams and compete for the 2nd string LB role in Buffalo: Buffalo Bills' 2008 Preview: Getting to Know Your Defense | Bleacher Report
Rubin has a good chance to make the Browns roster as the #2 nose tackle. CantonRep.com | The Canton Repository | Canton, Stark County & Northeast Ohio News, Community Events & Classifieds
Todd Blythe is very unlikely to make the Saints roster. Maybe he can sign somewhere as a free agent, but I have doubts about that. SunHerald.com : Saints questions linger | Iowa Hawkeye All-Stars, 2007-2008: Ryan Bain, Ricky Stanzi, Dana Brown, Tyler Gerstandt, Arvell Nelson, Bradley Fletcher, Dana Brown (x2), Ben Evans, Arvell Nelson (x2), Dominique Douglas, Anthony Bowman, Clint Huntrods, Lance Tillison, Dana Brown (x3), Dominique Douglas (x2), Brandon Myers, Ryan Donahue, Arvell Nelson (x3), James Cleveland, Cody Hundertmark, Cedric Everson, Abe Satterfield, Riley Reiff welcome to the club, who will be next??? |

It REALLY surprised me that Blythe can't catch on somewhere. You would think with his size, vertical, and hands he made make a great possesion receiver. He has 6 inches on the average NFL corner, and a good vertical...

I wish the best for Todd, but him not making it at the NFL level would not surprise me in the least bit.
He has those things you noted, but lacks certain things it takes to be a successful receiver in the NFL.

I certainly think he could play in the CFL. IMO, he may have an easier time there than in the AFL.

I don't know enough about AFL or for that matter CFL, but think he has enough talent to play somewhere, if he can't make it on Sundays.

All leagues are about speed. IMO, the AFL is "quicker" than the CFL or NFL.

Will Todd settle in as a Barnstormer if all things go South?
He seemed to be the Man when he was a freshman. Looks like he became lost along the way to the pros. Maybe he wasted his time in No when he should have been looking elsewhere.
Must be either the blocking, the route running crispness, or the shoes.

4.55 does not cut it for a pro receiver? He was faster than Stevie Hicks...

I saw Brett at the gym yesterday, didn't get a chance to ask him if he has any prospects, hope for the best for those guys and I'd like to thank them for all their efforts for ISU.
