Re: football recruiting
the guy not evaluated is a juco thats why he has no stars right now
"Day after day, situation after situation you do things the right way. If you do things the right way, in life, you are going to be successful. I'm not just your football coach; I'm not just here to win games. I could not be prouder of who we are and who we are becoming, together. You do things right in the classroom, off and on the field; that's whats's makes us Cyclones and that's what our culture's all about."

One great thing that Chizik has done is really focus on bringing in players for official visits during the season. He sees the atmosphere and tailgating at JT as a major selling point. And I think that unlike Mac, he has the staff to handle recruits on a gameday weekend. It's a great philosophy IMO. Not only do you get a recruit to Ames on a decent weekend (as opposed to Dec/Jan weather), you also find their open dates and schedule so that the kid can't make any other visits until his season is over.
