Hmmm, maybe it's because ISU fans have jobs other better things to do. We can't all spend our days putting Oprah on mute to call radio talk shows...

I listen to the show.. Just because I'm usually on the road for my job. I don't mind it, but people did exactly what Jon thought they would... Which would be to start a thread and complain about that segment he had.

Monty you may not listen, but why did you go to defensive mode when I posted my comments???

Seems like people may not like him around here, but why do we have to have a weekly thread about it??

Acutally I like most of Jon's posts. He's fairly level headed and never jabs here too much. However I've never figured out why he spends so much time on a Cyclone website?

I was trying to finish up scarfing my Subway sammich and was picking up the phone to call in and represent us, but the segment was over so damn quick and they moved on to Cubs/other topics so fast that I wasn't sure I'd be able to bring the topic back.

I was going to razz him (and the idiot Hawk fan callers) about how those "lesser" state of Iowa recruits seem to be able to hold their own pretty well against the "superior" state of Iowa recruits. Also was going to mention that its a bit too early to be talking about how Chizik won't be able to recruit "as well" as McCarney.

But to the point that Jon had brought up, that being the Dodd article....I was going to suggest that McCarney made friends with Dodd and Dienhart, and friends don't like seeing friends get pressured out of head coaching jobs. If Mac was such a great head coach, he would have gotten offered and taken another D1 head coaching job by now.
