the 3rd shift.

I feel for you...I worked the 3rd shift all thru college. never got use to it.

I'm looking hard for something new. I'm not sure how that's going to go, since I'll be away for 5 weeks in October.

I worked 3rd shift for 10 months back in 2000, I am still trying to get back to normal. Once I had my body conditioned for working through the night and sleeping through the day it just has not really ever changed back. I have such a hard time up until around 11-12 really getting things done. Whereas give me an evening I have nothing to do and I find myself up working/playing until 5-6 am like it is nothing.

I am pretty sure I have read studies about this before that talks about the toll 3rd shift really takes on your body. Maybe I will get motivated and search for them here this afternoon.
