Ugly Uniforms

We made some Las Vegas guy's bottom five for uniforms.

Who’s out of style and whose duds are in - Las Vegas Sun

He probably would be happy to know we are getting new uniforms.

Personally, I don't care what we look like as long as we win.

Maybe if the guy did some research he would realize we got new unis, and those colors are not part of them anymore.

Good news... USC made the best top 5. In my opinion, our new uni's look just like theirs.

I agree on his assessment of the old uni's....I am thankful we have gone back to our roots.

I hated the old. Love the new, Agree with the above posters..these are as close to USC as you can probably get. The only thing is USC has a "tad" more history than ISU. That makes a jersey look way better. how good does a Penn State Jersey look if they win 5 games in the next 5 years?

I like Oregon's uniforms. Some of the best, imo, are Nebraska, Auburn, Michigan, and Notre Dame.

Some of the worst, imo, are EIU, Northwestern, Cincinnatti, and Cal.

That being said, the guy sounds like a real dolt. Then again, I don't think there's a single person out there that wouldn't agree that our uniforms were atrocious last year. Way to point it out, Captain Obvious...

It's funny that the "good" uniforms happen to be the ones that are from traditional "winning" programs. Win and your uniforms are awesome, lose and they suck.

Two quick observations. First the guy must hate the orange/black combo. Secondly ....do you think he is just trying to pander to large fan bases. I mean Penn State and KNU in the top 5???? Anyway, I was OK with our all red unis and I loved the old red helmet. Last years "practice" unis drove me nuts. We looked like a poor high school program. Can't waite to see the new ones in person.

So, I love our new uniforms, but I got to say that I'm not a fan of the replica jerseys that are being sold in stores by Nike right now. There is no number on the sleeve like the real uniforms and the material doesn't seem that great.

I thought the Oregon Uniforms flippin' ROCK!!!!

But I like the hyper-conservative kNebraska and PSU unis, too.

First Angie, eviscerating me for black shoes with a navy suit, now this guy with Oregon's unis.

Can't a guy get a break, here???

I LOVED the throwbacks we wore in the Super Bowl......oooops I meant the Iowa game. Now I've done it. Now they know how important this game is to us....

He also hates on Clemson for wearing purple and orange together (he also hates anyone who has orange or purple of any kind). I happen to think Clemson's unis are pretty tight, they have different combinations and they can pull it off.
