Re: Ugh! Berryman in trouble again
I knew JB was doomed for more trouble when him and Tyease Thompson (yes, the other well known ISU troublemaker) got a place together in Des Moines...It was just a matter of time before something happend.

ok, well not to be an apologist or anything, but if he didn't get booted for legal reasons, then this is basically a dead issue, right?

Sounds like he never showed to practice and other small TEAM things. Maybe Allen Iverson is a distant cousinn?
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -
Re: Ugh! Berryman in trouble again
I'd be curious if it was a habitual violation(ie skipping multiple meetings) or a one time thing where they had a zero tolerance policy.
At least it appears that it wasn't anything legal.

Re: Ugh! Berryman in trouble again
My point is, how much of a loser do you have to be to get kicked off a team that pays you like $200 a week?

Re: Ugh! Berryman in trouble again
You people amaze me. I have read nothing specific about what got him "kicked off" the team. I think you need to know some facts before you label him with crimes not committed or reported. I think JB has problems with authority and certainly has made some stupid mistakes in the past. Until I know details...speculation is dangerous.

Re: Ugh! Berryman in trouble again
When he was kicked off of the team at ISU I actually felt a little sorry for him, that he was a product of bad breaks and a tough upbringing. Now I just think he is an idiot.

I think there is a big L on his forehead. What a dink.

Re: Ugh! Berryman in trouble again
JB has a big ego and doesn't take to authority too well. Throw on top that he's not the brightest crayon in the box, but gotta love some of the comments in this thread...

I'd get banned if I said what I really think about this comment
For some reason I have a low tolerance for folks making disparaging comments about the kind of folks who serve their country in the military, especially from those who haven't.

Re: Ugh! Berryman in trouble again
Berryman was truly a difference maker on the field for the Barnstormers. Like my fellow ISU alums who also have Barnstormer season tix in my section, we'd all just key on him and enjoy watching him create havoc.
I have to believe he wasn't given several chances before getting booted.
Too bad. What a waste.
