Well, they aren't all bigger than the "average" person. I say average loosely because I consider myself pretty average (6'1'' 190) and I'm what feels like a foot taller than a few of the d-backs I had in class last year, yet they outweigh me because they're built like brick houses.

lol! I remember that same thing in high school (more years ago than I care to admit), when the sophomores joined after ruling the junior highs. Like those sophs all those years ago, they'll get the egos knocked out of them pretty quickly.

Except that I think it was in reference to how hard summer school and workouts are--

As far as "dumb as bricks", I hope they get their feet on the ground, learn to pay attention in class and take notes quickly. Heaven knows it took me long enough to learn that lesson--and no one would ever describe me as "dumb as a brick". Oh wait, there was that whole attending class thing, too.

(actually, it's ...as much as I enjoyed my time in Ames, all the time I wasted...)

Nobody explained that to me either... I'm still somewhat amazed that I "accidentally" finished with a double major and that I actually graduated!
