I can't even sit down when I watch the games on TV. Waaaaay too much nervous energy.

Our seats have been in the last row of the lower section for years, which has worked out great for my "standing" preference. Our seats will be moved this year due to the construction, so I'm curious to see where we end up....

I think in addition to considering a no standing section we should look at a standing section, maybe near the students would be best. I for one would prefer to stand for most if not all of the game, but I don't out of consideration for the people around me. Finding a place to put such a section could be a challenge with most sections being assigned to donors and what not, but maybe with the new seats being added to the endzone that would provide an opportunity to explore such an option.

I think this "no standing" ******** is just propaganda created by all the old farts and fat ***** of the world so they don't have to crank their lazy *** up to watch the game. I personally would still buy tickets but find some huge people and stand right in front of them.

If they want to sit down all ******* game they can just stay at home.

I pretty much stand for the whole game except for halftime and during some of the TV timeouts and between quarters. I want and feel that I have to. I wouldn't be angry if I wasn't allowed to. Now if I was a NU fan, that would be a different story because sitting in Lincoln Memorial is uncomfortable.

Notre Dame has a "Standing Alumni" section right next to the student section; it's a rowdy area.

Pretty dumb but it won't change much of anything, I think people will stand if they want to stand still...But if someone complains then I could see some guy in a orange coat come up and tell them to sit down (sorta like the smoking band) no harm no fouling until someone complains about it...

I always make sure to at least bring a chair to tailgates now, because standing up there OR in the game is just plain annoying.

I think we need the government to pass a no standing law. It annoys some people and I am pretty sure gas isn't good for your health.

Walking tacos are a basketball thing for me. But that would still be terrible.

Another good idea to go along with banning standing at games...let's give everyone a breathalizer and if you blow over .08, you can't go into the game.

I don't know if this was mentioned on the Chiefs thread, but that rule has been in place for 30 yrs. They were talking about it on 810WHB and stated that it was made for the fan that won't ever sit down and is irritating everyone. Obviously, the Chiefs fans stand very frequently, especially when they were a little more exciting to watch.
