Looks like they caught and corrected the mistake. Of course we all downloaded the original and now are the proud owners of "rare mistake" copies!

Does anybody else find the two red colors inside of the "I" being different than the color of the red on the shell to be a somewhat serious error?

Isn't that the chiseled effect they are going for?

Go Cyclones! - Go Kohawks!

Now I see that stupid thing all over the place up here (my favorites are the misshapen homemade ones that rednecks put on their vans and mailboxes).

I think that if Gene has the type of success I'm hoping for we're all going to become really fond of the new logo.

Also, there's somthing to be said for separating the mascot from the unis. It's worked pretty well over the years for Notre Dame, Nebraska, Miami, Penn State, Washington, Oklahoma, Michigan, etc.
I like the new helmet and uniforms and I do get your point. However, there is also something to be said for using the mascot on the uniforms...just ask LSU, USC, Ohio State, and Texas...THE POINT IS THAT IT IS NOT THE UNIFORMS (WITH MASCOT OR WITHOUT) THAT MAKE THE TEAM!

I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes.

I still hold judgment on the uniforms until I see them in person but from everything I've seen, they are going to be awesome.
I am psyched with the new logo on the helmets and the new uniforms. The red on red looks sharp in my opinion. The only idea that I really hated was going to be the white helmets. Once they junked that plan I was onboard.

The thread is about uniforms and this is essentially the point of my post.

BTW Nice try with tOSU.
