I just called and was able to get 4 tickets from the ISU ticket office for the "Featherbutt" game ($65 each). The lady said that in the past I would have been too late and the 4,000 ticket allotment would have been gone by now (Gold Level Donor). Don't know if that means anything or not....just saying.

I think a lot of it has to do with the economy. Everybody is starting to really pull back on spending and tickets to events are usually one of the first things to go.

Notice he said Gold level donor. That means they have to fill all those who requested 4 from the $500, $250 level, etc.
While the economy may be slowing things, I bet they will still run out of tickets before they run out of donors.
4,000 tickets total available through ISU, so it will still probably be donors only.
