One thing that did impress me for their knowledge's sake was the CBS station in Lincoln, and their nightly feature of "Know your Husker(s)," where they would profile different Huskers, facets of the team, one night was "Know your Opponent," where they would break down that week's opponent. It was a really neat sportscast, and has probably helped to brainwash many young Husker fanatics.

Also, I think that you see more idiots in Omaha rather than Lincoln. The people who actually go to Lincoln and attend games are fairly welcoming.
I have a hard time believing that a Tom Osborne led team leaned partially on steroids for there performance. I think he is a man of great integrity.
I really agree with the statement that NU's new philosphy under Callahan might have affected there recruiting negatively. Previously they would recruit a certain type of player that not many others were recruiting, and thus could get exactly what they wanted, with plenty of depth. All of a sudden under Callahan they are trying to recruit the same type of players as most other schools. Mostly though, I just don't think Callahan is a great uniter of people.....he should most definitely go back to the NFL and be a coordinator again where he is at his best.
If the Callahan era will be remembered for stars (highly rated recruits) then the Bo era may be remembered for bars (welcome back criminals).Quote:
