I doubt it. He said to think 'home improvement', unless he is trying to throw us off. Regardless this would be good news.

Re: ISU in top 6 for 5-star JUCO QB/WR?

I started a thread about this the other day, and it was deleted.

Jeremy said that I exposed "Premium" Scout.com info, but I thought all I did was post a link to the Premium story that was on the ISU Scout homepage - those that pay for that service would be able to read it. The exception here was that EVERYONE was able to read it over the weekend, as Scout was running a promotion where all Premium info was available, even to non-Premium members.

I told Jeremy that I respected his decision, even though I didn't agree with it. I figured the "real" reason the post was deleted was that it was a recruit we were trying to keep "hush-hush".

Now that I go back and look only at his (free info) profile, I think I realize the bit of info that from the premium story I might have unintentionally divulged (even though, again, it was free over the weekend). Therefore, I want to make sure that it is clear that I agree with the CF post deletion. My (unintentional) bad. It was my first, and hopefully last, post that has ever been deleted from CF.

Back to the story....

The most interesting thing about the "introduction" post by TheCityTiger was this quote:

And IA St. is his #1 choice right now...they already offered him.

http://jcfootball.scout.com/a....amp;nid=3815570

Stay tuned!
Part of my post was an attempt to show that this might actually be credible, so here are some clues...

1) The poster's name is TheCityTigers, and Reedley College's mascot is, indeed, the Tigers.

2) In another (free) post on Scout.com, TheCityTiger talks about the Reedley team:

Scout.com: Montana State QB to Fresno City College

The thing that you're missing that Orange knows is that there is more than 1 Reynolds in black and orange this year! QB Money Reynolds (the baby brother) and WR Keke Reynolds (the middle brother) not to mention some serious speed on the other side in Keith Bellamy, the Valley conference is about to be a track meet...you better be able to run with #1, #7, and #3.
3) According to their roster...

New Page 1
(click "ROSTER" for the .pdf)

... not everything matches what TheCityTiger says, but some of the info is correct, and this is a roster from 2007 (Reynolds is listed as #4 - perhaps he is slated to wear #1 next season; Keke Reynolds is not listed - perhaps new to the team in 2008?; Keith Bellamy is, indeed, listed as #3).

Anyhoo... the IsuAlum2000 on that forum thread is, indeed, me. The point of my deleted post on CF was to alert everyone that TheCityTiger might introduce himself, and Darius, to ISU after I let him know that he should check out CF. So, back to my original intention of the whole thing.....

If TheCityTiger shows up here, give him (and his brother) a warm welcome!

6-4/190/4.4 QB/WR's are nice to have!

Another post re: Reynolds...

Scout.com: Reedley QB Darius Reynolds story...

TheCityTiger:
Kansas St. Clocked his 40 at 4.37. He will be a lot stronger this season!

Thumbs up Re: ISU in top 6 for 5-star JUCO QB/WR?

ISU is probably in my brother's top 3. After talking last night he will be visiting your school the last week of August! The coaches at your school are really dedicated to building that program and have shown him a ton of love. I will keep you guys posted on whatever he is thinking. Also ISU and a lot more schools have offered Scout just hasn't posted it.

Right, bud... 2 days after my post.

Anyway, no sweat. Let's hope he stops by.

Here's another link to a story that talks about a Reedley game:

Scout.com: BC Offense Too Much for Reedley

On offense, it took him a while to figure out what he had. "We started a little slow at QB because we had so many to sift through, but we settled on on Darius Reynolds. He's very athletic, and you'll see him run the ball." And run he did. I can honestly say he is one of the most elusive QBs I've seen, and is not only fast, he's just hard to get a helmet on.
But the pesky Tiger unit started to find a passing game of their own. Reynolds found Jahmeel Hobson on a broken coverage over the middle for a 76 yard TD, cutting the lead to 21-16. It took the Gades on play to get it back when Bower found Snipes deep to make it 28-16. But with 6 minutes to go, Reynolds went deep again, this time to Calvin Sapp on a 50 yard strike, and the Tigers would not be tamed down only 28-23.
OK, I'm done... I promise.

My wife is watching The Bachelorette... what the heck else am I supposed to be doing?

We would love to have him. ISU is a great place to go to school.

I hope he joins the Cyclone family.

Chizik: "One thing that I’d encourage our fans…I want them to be the loudest stadium in the Big 12. I don’t care…I want Jack Trice stadium to be the loudest in the Big 12 and I think that creates homefield advantage.... I want to stress to everyone…I want this place to be juiced up. They bought 36,000 season tickets so there is a passion there…don’t hide it…let it out. I want there to be a passion in the stadium."

I-S-U!

Oh... hey, City. Welcome. Thanks for stopping by.

The last week of August....? Hopefully that means he will be in Jack Trice Stadium for the opener on 8/28.

Maybe he'll catch a play like this one from another former central CA JuCo QB (and now current Seattle Seahawk)...

I see that you know about them both. I'm talking about Money or Darius you could say. Back home he's always been known as D.Money. Look him up on old NFL films Pop Warner footage, he played on ESPN twice as a QB in the Super Bowl. Lol! Way back in the day. Yes he was number 4 last year but he's been #7 all his life so he's switching back. He wore 4 because it was my other brother Keke or Kidd's number in high school. They are 2 years apart but equally talented. Reedley will have a great year with them!

If he's not his brother- that's just sad and disgusting. But if he is, think about how he feels to be interrogated for something that really doesn't matter. If he is his brother, great; if not, it won't make a difference toward recruiting him to ISU.
