6-7 wins is my realistic view.
| Chizik: "One thing that I’d encourage our fans… I want them to be the loudest stadium in the Big 12. I don’t care… I want Jack Trice stadium to be the loudest in the Big 12 and I think that creates homefield advantage.... I want to stress to everyone…I want this place to be juiced up. They bought 36,000 season tickets so there is a passion there…don’t hide it… let it out. I want there to be a passion in the stadium."

5 to 6 wins IMO. They will win a game they shouldn't win and lose a game they should win, but overall they should be improved from last year. I'm curious on who will win the QB battle

Boy, clever of you.
I believe we will go 3-1 OOC.
We'll drop either the Iowa or UNLV games. However the possibility does exist for us to go 4-0 since you just never know with the rivalry game and UNLV just isn't that great. We'll see how Chizik does and can hopefully pick up his first road win.
In conference, the OU and MU games last season showed me that this team can stay with anybody in the conference. BTW the major contributors in both of those games are all back (the RBs, Hamilton, the DBs, the DEs, the crazy winds in Jack Trice....oh come on, Sam Bradford isn't that bad of a QB)
I think we'll beat KSU, I think we have a shot at CU because they have one of the toughest schedules around and by the time we get to them they could be pretty beat up. We will win one of NU and aTm, I hope to God it's NU.
I don't think we'll beat OK State, Kansas, or Mizzou
I hope we beat Baylor....uhhh those memories are still too fresh.
That said, I say either 5-7 or 6-6. Anything more than that and Mean Gene is an absolute miracle worker

5-7 (SDSU, Kent State, Iowa, Nebraska and either KSU or Baylor)

7-5, with all of us howling about a loss that could have made it 8-4.

If we win less than 5 games with this schedule I will be surprised. Although that's assuming we have capable QB play, which I'm not convinced of yet so maybe I shouldn't be surprised by any win total. But seriously, if we get solid play from the QB spot and don't give up 35 yards per kick return we should be good enough to win 5 ball games. Our defensive line and having a true freshman kicker scare me but what fun would it be if we didn't have some question marks.

I voted for 3-6, but would not be surprised at 7.

I figure 4-5 wins, as we have several question marks. But......we will start out the season better. Much better.

For once, I'm torn between NU and aTm. I want both, of course. If I had to pick one, I think I'd prefer Nebraska, but one of our managers loves aTm, so it would be great to beat them. After living in NE, though, man, it will be sweet to beat them!
