Anybody happen to see the size of the guy Iowa State offered a scholarship to. Hopefully this isn't right but scout has him listed at a pretty low weight, hopefully this isn't right. You have to scroll down to see what he weighed at a Miami tryout Scout.com: Ernest Fox Profile

Rivals has him even smaller at 5'4 and weighing in at 139 lbs!!!
Did they offer him a scholarship as the water boy? His 40 time according to scout is 4.9. That can't be right b/c no school would offer someone that small unless they were blazing fast. No doubt the kid will grow though

4.94 40??
I was thinking that if he is a decent CB at only 5,5 he'd have to be fast and a good jumper, but that doesn't seem to be the case either. What ever did we see in this guy? Does his family have a history of going through late growth spurts?

We had a running back that was 5'1" 135 lbs lead us to the final four in 5A football in Florida my junior year. He went on to set a bunch of records at some DIII school but was getting D1 looks (he had BIG problems besides size). He probably ran about a 4.4 though and benched 345. Dude was an absolute triangle. I remember seeing something in SI about small running backs that he was featured in.

Probably just another scout.com mess up. remember the Thomas Gooden IIRC, guy from last year? no offer, but apparently committed to ISU. Rivals doesn't list Fox with an offer or interest.

Maybe he is really good friends with this guy and we are trying to get both of them as a "package" deal. http://iowastate.rivals.com/viewpros...p?pr_key=78725
