AMES, Iowa – Iowa State’s Sept. 13 football game at Iowa will kickoff in Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City at 11 a.m. CDT and be televised on the Big Ten Network. The Big Ten Network is channel 220 on DIRECTV. The Big Ten network is channel 439 on the Dish Network. Fans should check with their cable or satellite provider for game availability.
Iowa State’s game at UNLV Sept. 20 will kickoff at 8 p.m. CDT and be televised on the The Mtn., the Mountain West Conference’s television network. The Mtn. is available on DIRECTV’s Choice and above packages for viewers in Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah and Wyoming plus the markets of Dallas/Fort Worth and San Diego. Customers throughout the remainder of the country will be able to access The Mtn. with a subscription to DIRECTV’s SportsPack.
Now, I don't mind the BTN since we have the Dish Network, but what the heck is The Mtn? Am I going to have to head to my nearest sports bar (or to W.A.S.) to catch this game?
