Favorite Cyclone Football Moment?
In my short time on this earth, I've actually seen some great games: the northern illinois game a few years back, last year's iowa game, nebraska game 3 years ago.
But my favorite moment looking back is DMac's last game where everyone was freezing their ***** off and Ryan Kock ran for like 150 yards. That was a great day.
There's also a Kansas State game like 10 years ago that I can barely remember but I do think they were really good or something and we almost beat them? I'm not sure, maybe somebody here remembers it. I was only like 6 or 7 years old.
Anyways, how bout you guys?

Re: Favorite Cyclone Football Moment?
When my love for ISU football was born. I was about 11 years old and my brother (an ISU student) took my younger brother and I to a game at Clyde Williams. Luther Blue ran the 2nd half kickoff back for a touchdown. I know the stadium was small, but I'd never heard so many people screaming so loud before - and I was right in the middle of them screaming too.
THEN - shock of all shocks - the ISU student body started a cheer that included a SWEAR word. I couldn't believe it - it was SO COOL as far as I was concerned. Knew I was home right then and there.
ISU fans are the greatest in the world. All they ask for is hope and the belief that we have a chance to win every time we step on the field - Johnny Majors (paraphrased)
Ya gotta have the horses, man - Johnny Orr. -

Re: Favorite Cyclone Football Moment?
Marvelous Marv Sielor's (sp?) run all the way down to the 2 yard line when we beat Nebraska back in the early 90's. Also, the blocked punt that was a huge play in our win at Iowa that broke the 15 year streak. Let's just say my wife tried to get as far away from me as possible on both of those plays - I don't understand women.

Re: Favorite Cyclone Football Moment?
I loved everything about the FSU game minus the loss.
I would have to say favorite moment was the second half comeback at Kinnick. Hawk fans were talking so much **** at halftime. We also got ranked all the way to #9 that year

Re: Favorite Cyclone Football Moment?
There are many recent memories that I'd include on my list...
• Troy Davis going for 378 against Mizzou in 1996
• Seneca's first game in 2001, against UNI - you could just tell he was a special player (and my dad kept mis-pronouncing his name)
• the comeback at Kinnick (2002)
• the run (TT 2002)
• Colorado, when Gary Barnet saw a real mascot (2005)
Funny enough, my all time favorite, and probably part of my intense fan loyalty, was when my dad took me to the OU game in 1986. Yes, we lost 38-0. And it was cold and rainy. But that was before the Jacobson Building, when Cy stood between the locker rooms (where is that statue now?) Dad took me down between where the players came out during half time. I will never forget when Brian Bosworth came out - no helmet to show off his mohawk/dye/whatever. People were throwing oranges at OU (hinting at another Orange Bowl, Dad explained and until just now, I had forgotten that "the Boz" didn't play in the bowl game due to steroids...) After the game, we took the Cy-Ride to a laundromat to dry our clothes for the ride home. But I think I became a Cyclone that day
