At lunch I saw an ad for Allegiant with you buy one ticket and get one free. Might be worth checking out for the Las Vegas game.

That was the deal I used to book our trip to Vegas last year. 2 tix roundtrip non stop plus 4 nights on the strip for only 600 bucks.

Don't they usually jack the prices up though when they do that or at least that is what I have heard so you are paying almost the same as if you were paying for 2 anyways.
I will tell ya, better book now if you haven't because we just did this week and the prices keep going up every week we have been watching!

I used that Fly Free to Vegas deal in May, Two tickets and 4 nights there for about the same as mjoines34.
I'd bet this deal does not work on the weekend for the ISU game. Last I checked Allegiant Air tickets for that weekend were already jacked up quite high along with most other airlines out of DSM or CID.

I checked. You can get there fri - sun and stay downtown for $841 for two people. The "regular airfare" has been jacked up to over $300 each way but it has been there for a while. This way you would at least be back to normal flight costs. The Cyclone game weekend is not closed. they added a second flight back to DM on Sunday.
