Next weekend is the beginning of tailgate practice...setting up the tent, firing up the grill, tv, chairs, etc. without setting my beer down. Also want to practice grilling wings and peppers a couple more times before 8/28...have to make sure the sauces and stuffings are just right!!

Last year the times for the opening of the lots was:
NCC lots : 6:00 AM regardless of game time
Non-NCC : 6 hours prior to kick-off
If it is still the same as last year - 6:00 AM!

From the 2007 parking info...check the last line.
Tailgating Policies <li class="MsoNormal">General public lots open 6 hours prior to kick off. <li class="MsoNormal">Donor lots open at 7 a.m. or six hours prior to kick off, whichever is earliest. Examples:
- 1 p.m. or later kick off: Donor lots open at 7 a.m.
- 1 p.m. or earlier kick off: Donor lots open six hours prior
* NOTE: Thursday, Aug. 30 kick off vs. Kent State: lots open at 1 p.m.

Yeah...they said 1pm for the Kent St. game last year. I was there at 12:30 and they started letting folks in around that time. I would expect similar this year.

yeah i was there at 1pm last year for the home opener and the lots were already starting to fill up in G7
