McDonough got moved pretty much right away. Also have heard that Guyer has been kicking the **** out of the ball. That is good to hear. Kickers will still split time but if Mahoney struggles I think they will be quick to use Guyer for both.

Arnaud does sound very good. Never talks about Arnaud running (designed). Bates, however, always has (apparently designed) runs so between the two of them -- it seemed like Arnaud sounded better but he probably passes more where Bates will run sometimes.

I don't know if that paragraph makes any sense.

May my postings be polite and not misunderstood. (And hopefully funny on occasion.)

I like to read about the practices but then -- I always think in the back of my head that every good play listed means the other side of the ball had a bad play . . .

Exactly. I feel like I have some schizophrenic medical disorder with my conflicting feelings about the goodness or badness of what you hear and read.

I'm surprised at the lop-sided number of series run by each. AA had 7 (?) and Bates (2). But who QB'd for Series #2? They didn't list anybody.

I'm guessing if nothing outstanding happened on the series they didn't report it. I'd be really surprised if they weren't getting equal snaps.

I'm pretty sure Marquis Hamilton is #82, plus Collin Franklin is white.

Christopher Lyle also had a good scrimmage which is a great sign. State needs to have a solid 2-deep at DE to have a good rotation so players can stay fresh an entire game.

Who is Kennard Banks? He's not listed on the roster and it said he went to K-State on cyclone nation. Is he a juco transfer that changed from K-state to ISU?

When K-State ran out of schollies, he signed late with us. He was never really "officially" announced, but he's here now.

He's not the only one who arrived without fanfare. There's a tackle in the two deep who also materialized out of nowhere.

iirc, Banks did commit to K-State, but then Prince got commits from too many JuCo's and told Banks that he would have to walk-on. He then decided to become a cyclone.

We got high school lineman Brayden Burris the same way.
