Re: Perfect solution for out-of-state fans

Sounds like it is just the Cyclone replay show on DVD. I like the idea, but if I were out of state, given the fact I would likely see half the games on TV, I can't see me dropping $250-$300 for this.

Now if I could order them on a game by game basis...that is an entirely different story.

Re: Perfect solution for out-of-state fans

I know it's not for everyone. I can't get the Cyclone Replay Show. And I can't get the coach's show either. We live in east-central Iowa and have a low tier DishNetwork package, so I will be listening to games that I can't attend on the radio as usual. I do split season tickets with my folks, but if I didn't I would seriously consider this as an option.

Again...I think it is a good idea, but would like to see a game by game option rather than just the single, full season option.

I believe the original release stated that individual games will be available...will be nice to pick up a copy of those big wins.

seems like you'd be better off just joining clone zone for a few months and seeing all the stuff online. Granted, you won't have everything on DVD but instead of dropping $250 you will spend about 40 bucks for 4 months.

All of this is available already on Clone Zone for $8.95/month.

I would hope that there is a large difference between the quality of video that they have on the DVD vs streaming video.

Good point on the CloneZone. Maybe they figure some don't have computers/internet?

You can get all the games you want, even from past seasons at a place on main street in Ames called B&G Productions. Ask for Rod Bodholdt, they sell individual games at $10 a piece. I have been there many times.

the quality of the game rebroadcasts on mediacom aren't that great either.

When asked about the ISU @ Iowa game: Iowa wide receiver Derrell Johnson-Koulianos said. "This has to be the most important game of the year. We've got to treat it like we're playing for a Big Ten championship."

I tried ordering the 2000 season on DVD from them last year and never received it. Their website is full of bugs now, too, and has been that way for several months.

Re: Perfect solution for out-of-state fans

This might work great for me because I am deploying to the Middle East an the end of August and I will miss the whole football season. I can watch them on my laptop, but I probably wouldn't get the DVDs until a month after the game has actually occured.
