Watching the Cyclones in Kansas City
I just moved to KC in May and was wondering where the best place to watch the Iowa and UNLV games. I have heard Kelly's is a good place just wondering if I could get any input from KC area Cyclone fans.

Re: Watching the Cyclones in Kansas City
Wait until December, you can watch them live in Arrowhead! Cyclone
Iowa State became the Cyclones after they leveled Northwestern in 1895. As the Chicago Tribune (9/29/1895) noted:
'Struck by a Cyclone
It Comes from Iowa and Devastates Evanston Town' -

Kelly's in Westport is great for tourney, but I never hung out there for football games.
The OP in Overland Park is where Iowa and ISU fans go. So if you don't want to hear the Iowa fight song, you may get very annoyed there.
The KC area Alumni Association always sets things up for gamewatches.
Since I kept season tickets, I never really watched any football games down there.

If you live on the KS side of town, I'll second the OP in old town Overland Park.

I've never gone to watch a game, but I have also heard OP in Overland Park is a good spot.

Re: Watching the Cyclones in Kansas City
Yeah the OP is a great place to go lots of Iowa and ISU fans are there for games. The owner is a big Iowa fan and that is where the Iowa Alumni club watches the games. He didn't really want the OP to be the offical game watch for both thought the fans would get into it too much. I watch most of the BB games there.
